As is becoming the new normal for spring, D was gone again this weekend. From the beginning of every April to mid May, D is usually gone every weekend, typically Thursday through Saturday. In all honesty, I don't really mind it. I am able to get things done, but also do what I want. It doesn't hurt to have great friends who jump at every opportunity to hang out. Friday evening, after doing the Crossfit Games Workout of the week at the gym, I cleaned up and headed over to some friends. There were quite a few of us able to get together and play some Kinect. I thoroughly enjoyed the Dance game, but the Track & Field was the biggest hit of the night. It was hilarious! I love hanging out with our friends...always entertaining! I spent all Saturday afternoon and evening home with the Duo. Since they'd unexpectedly had an overnighter at Camp on Thursday, they were even more worn out than usual. While I did lots of laundry and things around the house, they slept. Shocking, I know. I had just finished telling D that Ollie had spent most of the day on his bed, when this happened...

After some time in the kitchen, Ollie had taken my spot on the couch so Flash and I hung out on the loveseat.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how this could be a comfortable position to sleep.

Yesterday, a BC trackster came over to watch the UConn game from the night before. She had to do an assignment for her Coaching Basketball class so we were able to help her out. Flash and Ollie LOVED her! Flash loves to steal things, but gets bored when we don't chase her. Apparently, she'd given up with K's flip flop and decided to rest a bit.

I love their laying positions. I think I'm ok being home alone because of the dogs. Otherwise, it's a bit too creepy for me.
I have yet to try Kinect but I have heard it is quite a workout. Sounds like you had a fun weekend. Hope the dogs got caught up on their sleep. :)
Fred loves to sleep with his head hanging down off the bed or couch, cracks me up!!
I love kinect - the dance one is awesome!!
What a super duper weekend you had!
So does Flash ever chew on the things she steals? My mom has a pair of flip flops and a coupla other chews that got chewed up by...uh...somebuddy.
Wiggles & Wags,
