Update

I flew down to Florida early Saturday morning so we could begin the house hunting. What an adventure! The first houe we saw was actually decent, just very quirky. So, that was a quick no. Then houses 2 and 3 were AWFUL! We did find an apartment complex that was nice so we added that to the list.

Saturday night, we ate dinner on the beach. That is definitely something I will have no problem getting used to! It was a gorgeous night and we ate at a fresh seafood restaurant. My mahi mahi was so good! I can't wait to go back there to eat again!

Sunday, we went to church at Boca Raton Community Church. We enjoyed it; it was just much more traditional than what we're used to. Not bad, just different.

We attempted to see a couple of rental homes, but nothing worked out. To say we were a little frustrated would be an understatement.

Highlights of the trip were meeting various staff members that Danny will be spending a lot of time with. He will be working with a bunch of great people, so that is nice.

Looks like for now, we'll be renting for the first 6-12 months until we know exactly where I'll be working and where we would like to live. There are a lot of great areas to choose from so it may take some time. Renting with the Dynamic Duo will definitely be an adventure that I'm not looking forward to. But, I know we'll survive.

It was hard coming back to IN yesterday. I fell in love with the area we'll be in and I can't wait to get back there. I'm thankful that I have volleyball to occupy my time over the next few weeks. Time will fly and I know we'll be extremely busy. Fingers are crossed that the house sells and sells FAST!

Flash and Ollie were very excited when I got home yesterday afternoono. Their friend Sarah came to stay with them while I was gone. Thankfully, they did pretty well. They did have one major adventure last week when she picked them up from Camp for me. For whatever reason, they both jumped in the front seat with her, which caused her to swerve and hit a mailbox. Some paint and part of the door handle on the front passenger side came off. I guess we're going to have to get more serious about those seatbels. Though they are trying to maintain their innocence, all of their allowance and extra spending money will be going to Aunt Sarah.

have they started learning to water ski yet? it's going to come in very handy. we are flying to austin this weekend to look at houses and are similarly nervous. we are hoping to buy right away, as renting with a pit bull of your own plus a rotating foster pit bull spot is not the easiest!!
