Strange Things are Happening

The countdown officially began yesterday. We're now down to 6 days until we begin making the long awaited drive to Florida. I can't believe the time has already come. I have two days left of work, D comes in on Thursday morning and life just gets crazier from there. At times I think I'm ready for this; other times I'm not so sure. Volleyball ended last Thursday. Though I was sad and emotional for a little bit, it is somewhat of a relief to be done. That was what I stayed here for and now it's over. We have our banquet Wednesday evening; then it's officially done and I can hand in my keys.  Weird!!

The house is getting more and more packed each day. I have nothing left in my kitchen except for a skillet and spatula to make eggs, which is about all I have in the fridge. The moving truck arrives Friday and we load it on Saturday. It will be nice to have lots of hands helping.  So thankful for our friends!!

But, the weirdest thing of all...the Dynamic Duo.  I keep catching them this way...
Or like this...

 Or this...
 Sometimes like this...
 And even like this..
What I want to know is...when did they start sharing the couch?  Does this mean they might actually like each other? And, this is all from this past weekend! They're starting to worry me. I know I'll really be worried when they are actually touching. Maybe some day!!

Speaking of the Duo, they got a special treat Friday evening. I had purchased a $10 gift certificate from LivingSocial.com for Urban Swirl, an amazing frozen yogurt place in town. They sell Yoghund and I've always wanted to get it for the Duo, but never wanted to spend the extra money. Well, E and I went and only spent about $6 and they don't give change for the gift certificates. What's a girl to do but buy the Dynamic Duo some Yoghund.  The flavor was Papaya and Peanut Butter. I think they liked them. What do you think?

Love the pics. Maybe just maybe they are growing on each other. :) Looks like they enjoyed their tasty treat!
