Though I've been working from home for the Hospital and one other company, I was finding myself bored and also in need of some extra money that was predictable. Danny and I threw out various ideas of what I could do and one that was at the top of the list was work at Starbucks. I love their coffee, it'd be flexible and I'd get to meet a variety of people. Perfect for me!
Early last week, I filled out the online application. On the application, you can only select 4 stores to apply to and you don't know if they are truly hiring. This week, I followed up with the 4 stores and none of them were hiring. I saw online though that a store in West Palm Beach was hiring. So, Wednesday afternoon, I drove up to the store to introduce myself and make sure they were able to find my application. I ended up having an impromptu interview with the sore manager and then was sent to another store to interview with their manager. I got the call yesterday...I now have a part time job!! I am really excited and looking forward to trying out something completely different from what I've done in the past. Hopefully I like it as much as I think I will!

Awesome! Sounds like a perfect job for you. You know how they always have "regulars" that you get to know by name? Can't wait to see who your "Corey" ends up being. HA!! So happy for you, but miss seeing you and Danny!
Way to go, Peg! You'll be perfect for this! Now maybe someday you can teach me all the lingo...I've never even been inside one for fear I will embarass myself because I have no idea what anything means... :)
